Project: National Athletics Facilities Strategy 2017- 2021
We researched, catalogued, site visited and surveyed facility stock, clubs, local authorities and the management agencies involved in operating tracks and indoor straights as well as considering the sports needs in the context of more informal running provision. The comprehensive and challenging strategy is forming the basis not only of how EA approaches facility support and development but also impacted its workforce development, approach to asset transfer, club business planning and overall asset utilisation, asset transfer and a range of other factors including flexibility about track and field shares with other sports.
